New sneeze
Yep. There’s an e-How article on how to sneeze. Step Four explains that sneezing into your arm is better.

Tell that to your shirt.

That is the exact reason I hold my sneezes in. Who wants spit and shit all over themselves?

  2. Babychaos Says:

Great timing. I’ve just sneezed all over my screen. Ack!

    Cheers

  3. Joe Drinker Says:

See BC? Should have used your elbow.

Steve - that’s a question for the ages, my friend.

  4. Emon Says:

It works even better with tank tops. ;)

  5. Brian Says:

This is exactly why I prefer to sneeze into someone else’s elbow. My sleeves stay clean and I don’t spread germs… to more than one person. I’d say that’s a win-win.

  6. Joe Drinker Says:

Emon - That bare-arm sneeze would make the best BRRRRRPPPTH!!! sound ever.

Brian, you know, I may have to re-read the new rules. There may be a loophole for whose sleeve it has to be. In that case I’d be all over it.

  7. Nils Geylen Says:

Who still sneezes these days? Good tip though. I was in need of some pub banter material.

  8. Joe Drinker Says:

You Europeans…always ahead of the game. Figure out how to not get the hiccups, too?

  9. MyStarbucks Says:

I’ve got news for you… this is precisely what they teach the little kids in pre-school and kindergarten to do too.
