Cool, that looks like Brian’s blog!
January 7th, 2008 at 10:44 pm
That thing should read…
“I Hate Work Days.”

Oh, it is Brian’s blog. His is one of those I can usually read at work while and imagine I’m at home with a cigar, or, well, anyplace but this fuzzy box.

I recognized Brian’s blog, too

Cool, the Brian thing… I reckon the candy slip should just say “I hate work”. BTW, just remembered why I always used to come back to work on a Tuesday after some time off!
Cheers

Woohoo! Not only is it my blog, people recognize it! Now must be the time for me to use this blog recognition to write a book. NY Times bestseller list, here I come!
As you guess, I am at home and I did just finish a cigar. A very tasty Edge Maduro Torpedo by Rocky Patel. Very rich, with a good combination of rich chocolate, pepper, and sweetness. Excellent, this is turning out to be a fine day!

Oh, man, I hate Monday’s too!

Wow Candy, thats so American and I’m so British - they’re sweets over here. Whatever the version of English it is - grippng stuff as always.
Bangers and Mash, stiff upper lip, Mary Poppins
God save the queen etc etc etc

Wow I must check out this Brian’s blog…sound great.

Yes Brian, I’m not above admitting that I surf your blog from work. About as much as I’m not afraid to admit that I plan on riding your coattails to greatness. Do people even have coats with tails anymore?
Secret Agent…I knew we had a connection.
Billy, yep, if I said sweets, i think people would think I was referring to my wife. Although with Candy I run the risk of having people think I’m referring to a stripper.
Cowgal, I’ll make it easy for you: Follow the smoke.

JD, for you, I’ll start wearing coattails. (Wow, does that sound a little creepy? Yeah? Ok, I take it back.)
But you bring up a good point regarding coattails. Nobody wears ‘em anymore. That means we’re due for them to come back into fashion. (I mean, hey, bell bottoms came back, and those may be the worst fashion of all time.) In anticipation for this, I’m going to start up a business that makes clip-on coattails for coats. You thought pet rocks were big? This’ll be HUGE. I’m taking investments now, you in?

Brian, when I was a student and a bit punk, I used to wear a scarlet tail coat with the underside of the tails lined in light blue…
Perhaps there’s a niche market…
Cheers
