This blog is really more of a brain dump than anything else - a place where I can shake out my brain and sift through the debris. Like an excited child who finds a shiny nickel, I just feel like sharing what I find with the world.

That is very much the kind of thing I do. BTW the community thing is a little thing in your sidebar, I've managed to join it now! Smug waves emanating...

Didn't you know you had an entourage?

Cheers

The long version of how this particular bad hair day went down was that I actually had remembered to put on the hat earlier in the day, but I had to go home and change before lunch. When I left the house again I forgot to grab said hat, and was sporting a horrible case of hat-head, compounded by the fact that I had slept on it and only barely gotten it wet in the shower.

I got to the coffee shop in the Biltmore (read: fancy mall surrounded my multi-million dollar homes and swanky restaurants) that I like to hang out at, and realized once I got in line that I had neglected the hat and probably looked homeless and a little unstable. I stepped into the restroom and applied as much water as would stay up there and zipped over to the Macy's in the mall, where I bought the cheapest hat I could find. Again though, I ducked into their restroom to douse my hair so I didn't have security called on me, and while I was in there working one of the clerks came in and gave me that "I'm so calling security when I'm done here" look.

Last time I skip shaving for a couple of days, skip a hair wash and try to wear a hat to a meeting at an upscale coffee shop. When I put it this way, of course it sounds bad.

I tried to join your community but failed, utterly! Yahoo has to be about as intuitive as the worst cases of Asperger's and the most Autistic person on the planet rolled into one! Blimey! Oh well... I tried.

Cheers

I forgot to put my bra on once. Things got a bit uncomfortable over the "traffic calmed" zone. I walked around very carefully all day.

Cheers
