The ABCs of Me
So almost a month ago, I was tagged by MyStarbucks, and because I’m somewhat of a tool, I forgot. Well, I didn’t really forget, but I had too many other important things to do, such as get my hair cut or pick up my dry cleaning. After that, who has the time? Anyway, I finally got around to doing it. A weight has been lifted, a wrong has been righted.
Here’s the drill:
The instructions say that each player starts with some random facts/habits about himself/herself. As you are tagged you need to post the rules and your responses on your own blog. At the end of your post, you need to choose some people to tag, list their names and, of course, leave them a comment, telling they have been tagged and they need to read your blog for more information.
- A - Arizona. Home sweet home.
- B - BMW. That’s the kind of car I drive, and unless something happens, I don’t want to drive another car. I love it.
- C - Creative. You might say not really, if I’ve already played that card. I was referring to my job title.
- D - Dinosaurs. I like ‘em. I thought about becoming a paleontologist at one point, but they seem to be sweaty all the time. I’m a big fan of air conditioning, so another career was in order.
- E - Envious. I try not to be, but I am.
- F - Fun. I, as opposed to the rest of you, like to have fun. Jealous? You should be.
- G - Grateful. I’m grateful for the people in my life. Most of them, anyway.
- H - Helicopter. I bought myself a radio-controlled helicopter and I’m trying to learn to fly it. So far I’ve hit a tree and a barbecue grill. H could also stand for “hella hard.”
- I - Impulsive. Sometime in the future, I’m going to look back on my life and ask “What was I thinking?”
- J - Jello. Because there’s always room for Jello. Especially on my site.
- K - Kelp. I love sushi. I’m not sure if the sushi seaweed is actually kelp, but there’s not a lot going on in my life that starts with “K”. Although I do have two knees.
- L - Lollygagging. How many times do I get to use that word?
- M - Mexico. Living this close to Mexico gives us many opportunities to make a run for the border.
- N - Niagra Falls. I threw up there when I was little…spaghetti, I believe. Good times.
- O - Office, The. It’s a stretch, but origami isn’t really all that important to me. Plus, I love that show. Must-see TV, indeed.
- P - Prescott. The town in Arizona where I grew up. It was generally regarded as bumpkinville until Money magazine called it out as the best place to retire in the U.S. Now just try to pick up a house there.
- Q - Quiet. Generally speaking, I’m pretty quiet.
- R - Rwanda. Where my coffee comes from.
- S - Sam Adams. I’m a big fan of the Boston Lager. I toured their plant last time I was in Boston, and met that bearded guy from the commercials. He’s my hero.
- T - Topless. I love driving topless, and the more people in the car, the better. Topless as in a convertible…geez. Filthy minds.
- U - Uganda. My mom visits Uganda every couple of years and works with kids in an orphanage’s school.
- V - Vegetarian. My wife is one. I like to eat things that have faces. Dinner time at our place is always an adventure.
- W - Web. I feel like I live on the web. I mean, I just got done with a full day designing graphics for web sites, and now I’m surfing for fun.
- X - Marks the spot? Seriously? What was I supposed to put here?
- Y - Yahoo. I used to, but now, not so much.
- Z - Zazzle. I set up a store there, just to see what it was like. Now I can’t get off their e-mail list.
So, that’s my ABCs of me. Since I don’t particularly like to propagate these games of tag, I’ll leave it up to you. If you want to come up with an ABC list, link back here so we can track it. That way, I’m not the creep who killed the meme.

That was very enlightening. I love Sushi too! I ate at RA when I was in Phoenix last. It was delish. So nice to get to know you! Thanks for posting this!

No problem. Glad to do it.
And Ra has some of the best sushi around.
